The United States Eventing Association (USEA) has announced the selected athletes for the 2026 Emerging Athlete U21 Program (EA21), aimed at developing promising young event riders aged 21 and under. The program offers regional clinics coached by top USEA Eventing Coaches, culminating in a national training camp led by David O’Connor in Paso Robles, California, from December 29, 2026, to January 2, 2027. USEA covers coaching and stabling costs for participants at regional clinics, while athletes handle their own travel and accommodations.
EA21 focuses on enhancing horsemanship, riding skills, and consistency to build a pipeline of future elite team riders. The program, launched in 2022, includes five regional clinics across the U.S., with athletes selected from these clinics invited to the national camp. The announcement also lists the clinics’ locations, coaches, selected athletes, and waitlists. USEA thanks its sponsors for supporting the program, which continues to foster the next generation of top eventing talent.
