The 94th Annual Ward County 4-H Achievement Days will take place from June 12 to June 18, with a bonus event on June 19, at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot. The event features 264 Cloverbud and 4-H members, ages 5-18, showcasing a variety of talents through static exhibits, pets, livestock, small animals, and horse shows. All activities and exhibit halls are free and open to the public, highlighting the creativity and hard work of local youth.
Key highlights include the 4-H Horse Show, various animal shows (cat, bunny, rabbit, dog, poultry), livestock competitions, a Livestock Skill-a-thon, Ag Olympics, and a 4-H Friends and Family BBQ. The event also features a Pee Wee Pig Show for children up to age 7, a Livestock Premium Sale supporting exhibitors, and concludes with the Ward County Shootout youth livestock show on June 19. Awards will be presented for achievements in fiber arts, horsemanship, showmanship, and livestock competitions.
