Thunderbird Showpark in Langley is entering its peak season with a series of high-profile equestrian events throughout May 2026, attracting over a thousand horses, Olympic-level riders, and five international teams. The Canadian Premier (May 20-24) and the Odlum Brown BC Open (May 26-31) are the marquee tournaments, both fully sold out. Highlights include the $75,000 CSIO4* Nations Cup on May 31, featuring teams from Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Ireland, and Australia, serving as a key preparatory event ahead of the World Equestrian Games. Canadian show jumping legend Ian Millar will coach the national team, which includes top Olympians.
In addition to elite competition, Thunderbird Showpark aims to engage the public with affordable ticket prices and family-friendly activities such as pony rides and face painting.
