Korea Racing Authority Partners to Expand Employment for Persons with Developmental Disabilities in Horse Industry

Jangsu Ranch, operated by the Korea Racing Authority, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Jeonbuk Branch of the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities to enhance stable employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in the region. The ranch will leverage its facilities to provide vocational training focused on horse care, while the Horse Breeding and Training Society will handle the hiring and personnel management of these individuals.

This collaboration follows a successful pilot vocational training program at Jangsu Ranch and aims to support employment within the horse industry. A Korea Racing Authority official emphasized their commitment to creating a sustainable work environment for persons with disabilities and promoting inclusive employment models in horse breeding and training.
