Benjamin Ebeling Wins Devon World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle on Bellena

Benjamin Ebeling secured victory at the Devon World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle in Pennsylvania on September 27, 2025, riding the 15-year-old Hanoverian mare Bellena to a score of 77.655%. This event marked the first North American qualifier for the World Cup Final scheduled in Fort Worth, Texas, next April. Ebeling narrowly edged out Kevin Kohmann, who scored 77.005% on the gelding Dünensee, and Meagan Davis, who placed third with 73.315% on Toronto Lightfoot. Both Ebeling and Kohmann, based in Wellington, Florida, earned valuable points toward qualification, with Ebeling now tied for sixth in the standings.

The North American World Cup qualifying series continues with upcoming events at TerraNova near Sarasota, Florida, and Tryon, North Carolina. Anna Marek remains the leader in the US Open standings after placing fourth in the Freestyle and winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on Fayvel. The top three scores from ten qualifiers will determine which riders advance to the Final. The competition remains fierce as riders accumulate points in pursuit of the prestigious World Cup title.
