U.S. Equestrian Federation Announces 12 Athletes for U.S. Dressage Olympic Short List

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced a short list of 12 athletes and 15 horse combinations being considered for the U.S. dressage Team for the Tokyo Olympic Games. These athletes, hailing from various locations including Florida, California, and Nevada, will compete in a mandatory observation event from June 8-12 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida. The list includes notable riders such as Katherine Bateson-Chandler with Alcazar, Adrienne Lyle with Salvino and Harmony’s Duval, and Steffen Peters with Suppenkasper.

The final team, consisting of three riders and a traveling reserve, will be selected and announced by June 21, pending approval from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. This selection process ensures that the top-performing athlete/horse combinations represent the U.S. in dressage at the Olympics.
