Members of the Torrevieja University of the Third Age (U3A), a non-profit group for retirees and those in later life stages, visited the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre in Rojales at the end of April. During their visit, they toured the shelter, which cares for over 120 horses, donkeys, and ponies rescued from abuse and neglect since its founding in 2008. The U3A members also made a generous donation to support the ongoing care of these animals.
The Torrevieja U3A regularly engages in community activities and charity efforts, with the Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre being one of their frequent beneficiaries. The rescue centre expressed gratitude for the visit and donation, highlighting the meaningful connection formed between the group and the shelter’s mission to provide compassion and care for rescued equines.
