South Dakota State Equestrian Team Concludes Regular Season at South Carolina Tri-Meet

The 10th-ranked South Dakota State (SDSU) equestrian team concluded its regular season with a strong showing at the South Carolina Tri-Meet, facing off against second-ranked South Carolina and Delaware State. Despite a 4-6 overall record, SDSU demonstrated solid performances, particularly in the fences and flat categories, setting season-high team scores of 402 and 409 points respectively. Key riders included Sarah Gould, who led with an 87-point performance, and Juliana Gullo and Heidi White, who each secured multiple victories.

SDSU also excelled in reining, holding a 3-2 advantage with standout performances from Hailey Hanson, Lillie Wallis, and reining Most Outstanding Performer Adisyn Kuxhaus, who improved to a team-best 6-2-1 record in head-to-head matchups. Grace Gerbus was the sole winner in horsemanship, contributing to the team’s competitive efforts as they wrapped up their regular season schedule.
