The 73rd annual Soham Carnival, organized by the Soham Benevolent Association, will be held on Sunday, May 24, from 9am to 5:30pm at the Soham Recreation Ground. The event features a variety of activities including a heavy horse show, a parade of floats with the Carnival King, Queen, and Princess, live performances by samba band Sammy Magic Magic, Kuk Sool Won Soham, and multiple music acts throughout the day. Additional attractions include skateboarding workshops, graffiti art sessions, a funfair, food vendors, trade stalls, a BBQ, and a raptor display. Admission costs £4 for adults, £3.50 for concessions, and 50p for children under 18, with cash payment only.

Proceeds from the carnival will support the Soham and Ely Foodbank and other community groups. Attendees are reminded that dogs (except assistance dogs) are not allowed on the recreation ground, and parking is reserved for disabled visitors.
