Shashank Singh Kataria Triumphs in CCI3*S Return After Injury

Shashank Singh Kataria made a victorious comeback at the CCI3*S event after recovering from a broken collarbone sustained at Wandin International Horse Trials. Riding Icaro B, Shashank delivered a strong performance despite challenging weather, posting the fastest cross-country time and finishing on a score of 36, marking an ideal return to competition.

Sophia Hill, fresh from a top-ten finish at Kentucky CCI5, secured second place aboard Bluebell Mystery, a relatively new eventer who has quickly risen to the CCI3 level. Samantha Cesnik rounded out the podium in third with Graftango, who returned to cross country after a European campaign. All riders praised the Ballarat event for its excellent organization despite difficult conditions.
