Rankin County Animal Shelter in Brandon is hosting a fee-waived adoption event on Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The shelter aims to find homes for over 100 dogs and will waive all adoption fees during the event.

Despite the waived fees, all adoptions will still include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a collar and leash. Shelter officials are encouraging local residents to visit and consider adopting a pet.
