The 96th annual Rancheros Visitadores ride commenced in Solvang with over 750 riders receiving blessings at Mission Santa Inés before embarking on their four-day journey through Santa Barbara County. This invitation-only men’s riding group, founded in 1930 to preserve California’s vaquero heritage, also held a parade celebrating history, culture, and the cowboy spirit, drawing crowds along Alisal Road.
A significant highlight of the event was the presentation of a $166,000 donation to the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, the exclusive fundraising partner of the Ridley Tree Cancer Center. Since partnering in 2013, the Rancheros Visitadores have raised over $1.9 million, with this year’s contribution, supported by Wrangler, putting them on track to reach a $2 million cumulative goal before the 2027 ride.
