Queen Camilla Moved by Brixton Ebony Horse Club at Badminton Horse Trials

Queen Camilla expressed being deeply “moved” upon learning about the Ebony Horse Club, a Brixton-based charity she has been president of for several years. The club, celebrating its 30th anniversary, provides horse riding lessons, workshops, and youth support for disadvantaged young people in southeast London. During her visit to the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire, which selected the club as its chosen charity this year, she met with young members and volunteers, experienced a horse simulator demonstration, and presented rosettes to riders performing a musical ride.

In addition to engaging with the Ebony Horse Club, Queen Camilla also interacted with notable figures at the event, including six-time Badminton winner Lucinda Green and her ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles. The visit highlighted her ongoing commitment to supporting youth initiatives and her personal connection to the equestrian community.
