Queen Camilla Attends Badminton Horse Trials Supporting Ebony Horse Club Charity

Queen Camilla attended the Badminton Horse Trials in a practical dark pantsuit, marking a departure from her usual royal attire of skirt suits and coat dresses. As the Royal Patron of the British Equestrian Federation, she spent the morning engaging with the Ebony Horse Club, a Brixton-based charity that supports disadvantaged youth through horse riding. The club, celebrating its 30th anniversary, was named the official charity of this prestigious five-day equestrian event held annually at Badminton House in South Gloucestershire, England.

During the event, Queen Camilla expressed how moved she was by the Ebony Horse Club, a charity she has supported since becoming its president in 2009. She also greeted notable attendees, including six-time Badminton winner Lucinda Green and her former husband Andrew Parker Bowles, with whom she remains close friends. Parker Bowles recently stood in for Princess Anne, another close friend, at a thanksgiving service for BBC Sport broadcaster Clare Balding’s father, Ian Balding, who was Queen Elizabeth’s former racehorse trainer.
