Obituary of Titi Killeen Ferguson: Beloved Horse Breeder, Artist, and Family Matriarch (1933–2026)

Titi Killeen Ferguson (1933–2026) was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who passed away at 93 after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey, she was a successful horse breeder and competitor, excelling in Arabian and Anglo-Arab horses and later in showing Keeshonds. She also published and edited The Arabian Horse Journal and was an accomplished photographer. After retirement, she pursued her passion for watercolor art, becoming a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society and co-founding the WVHighlands Artisan Gallery with her husband John, who predeceased her after 67 years of marriage.

Titi is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was active in her Catholic faith and community, serving as a eucharistic minister and participating in the Daughters of the American Revolution. After spending 35 years in West Virginia, she moved to Maryland in 2025. Funeral services were held in Easton, Maryland, with donations suggested to local hospice, animal shelter, or pregnancy care organizations in her memory.
