At La Plata racecourse, the favorites Mister Coquette and Silencio Dramático secured victories in the Forli (1,700 m) and Inter Red (1,400 m) races respectively, both held on a heavy track. Mister Coquette, ridden by Matías Muñiz and bred by Haras Firmamento, showcased his strong form by winning decisively with a 2 1/2-length lead, marking his sixth win in 25 starts. Meanwhile, Silencio Dramático, trained by Marcelo Sueldo and bred by Haras Los Turfistas, maintained a consistent performance with a narrow half-length victory, boasting a 50% win rate from 10 races.
Despite a weaker betting handle compared to San Isidro or Palermo, these results highlighted the dominance of the favorites in a challenging racing environment. Both horses demonstrated skill and resilience on difficult ground, reinforcing their status as leading contenders in their categories.
