Owner Lindsay Wiczek has rescued nine horses, including two ponies, Pal and Sugarfoot, who attended a recent fundraising event. The event, supported by local business Deja Brew Coffee, aimed to raise money for building a new barn, especially to accommodate a newly pregnant horse needing extra care.
