King Charles Celebrates Royal Windsor Horse Show and Triple Racing Victory

King Charles III, along with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2026, an esteemed event held on the private grounds of Windsor Castle, open to the public only during this time. The show features top international equestrian competitions in show jumping, driving, and endurance, culminating in the Rolex Grand Prix, alongside various displays and a country lifestyle shopping village, creating a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere.

On the same day, the King and Queen celebrated a remarkable treble victory on the racecourse, with three of their horses winning across two races at York and one at Newbury. Portcullis won the Darley EBF “Confined” Novice Stakes at York, Warrant Holder triumphed in the Support Macmillan Charity Raceday On 13 June Handicap at York, and Point Of Law secured victory in the Coolmore City Of Troy EBF Maiden Stakes at Newbury. All three horses were trained by John and Thady Gosden, with jockey William Buick riding Portcullis.
