The 2026 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) will take place in Traverse City, Michigan, from July 27 to August 2, featuring youth athletes competing in dressage and jumping disciplines. Applications for dressage categories (Children, Junior, Young Rider, and U25) must be submitted by May 4, 2026, with the qualifying period running from July 22, 2025, to June 22, 2026. For jumping, the application deadline is June 1, 2026, with qualifications from September 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, and the final submission of Certificates of Capability due by June 8, 2026. Competitors can apply through the USDF website or the USEF Athlete Dashboard.
Travelers are encouraged to book accommodations early due to Traverse City’s popularity, with special hotel rates available through the event’s organizing committee.
