Bryan Gonzalez showcased outstanding horsemanship at the Spanish Horse Fair in City of Industry, California, winning multiple first-place awards with his PRE Andalusian horse, Dante de Castellon. The competition, judged by experts from Spain, evaluated horses on movement, conformation, and harmony, highlighting Gonzalez’s success against top breeders nationwide. His rigorous five-month training program, focusing on targeted muscle conditioning and overall flexibility, developed Dante’s precise trot and gallop, key factors in their victories across several categories including best movement and best American-born colt.
These achievements mark a significant milestone for Gonzalez and Dante in their debut competition, emphasizing the athleticism and elegance of the PRE Andalusian breed. The Spanish Horse Fair serves as a vital platform for promoting Andalusian horses and the dedication of their trainers. Building on this success, Gonzalez and White Stallion Hay & Ranch plan to continue competing in morphology and dressage events, aiming to elevate the breed’s profile and influence training standards within the specialized field of Spanish horse competition.
