Bronica Deale Launches Brittany’s Reign to Bring Equestrian Therapy to Marginalized Communities

Bronica Deale founded Brittany’s Reign to honor her daughter Brittany, who found joy and healing through horseback riding before tragically being killed in a domestic violence incident at age 22. After enduring profound grief and health challenges, Deale created the organization to bring equestrian therapy to marginalized communities, helping others heal from trauma through the unique bond formed with horses. With support from equestrian advocate Erin Brown, known as “The Concrete Cowgirl,” Brittany’s Reign aims to provide mental health support and therapeutic opportunities to youth who might not otherwise have access.

Deale’s mission extends beyond therapy to include advocacy for gun violence and domestic violence prevention, as well as raising awareness about mental health. She believes that horseback riding can empower individuals to reclaim control over their lives, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. Through Brittany’s Reign, Deale hopes to inspire healing and resilience, ensuring that every child has the chance to experience the transformative power of horses, just as her daughter did.
