The A.R.C.H. equine protection centre is hosting its annual Spring Festival in Alhaurin el Grande on Sunday, May 17, offering a day full of family-friendly activities including a dog obedience display, a Fun Dog Show, an artisan market, live music, and a barbecue with vegan options. Visitors can meet rescued horses and donkeys, browse merchandise, and participate in a mega raffle, with all proceeds supporting urgent care for the centre’s animals amid rising costs from recent rescues.
Additionally, two original artworks by notable artists Anna Bondar and Janette Lockett are on display at the A.R.C.H. charity shop and available for bidding through donations until May 31. Entry to the festival is free, encouraging community involvement to help fund the ongoing rescue and medical care of horses and donkeys in need.
