The 2024 BSPS M&M supreme ridden final crowned a home-produced Fell stallion as the overall supreme champion, with a Dales stallion as the reserve champion. Only large breed ponies occupied the top 10 final placings this year, marking a change from previous years.
Among the 12 best of breed winners from the final were Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh section A, Welsh section B, Welsh section C, Welsh section D, Connemara, New Forest, Fell, Dales, and Highland. Each winner showcased the best of their respective breeds in the competition.
The overall supreme title was won by Victoria Taylor and her Fell stallion Birkettbank Master John, with Joe Watson and his Dales stallion Griseburn Major as the reserve champion. Other notable winners included Amanda Sharman’s Connemara stallion Castle Kestrel and Chris Grant’s Highland stallion Dunedin Iolare.
