During France’s Bastille Day parade on July 14, 2025, a soldier was seen bleeding from the ear while marching with fellow officers-in-training from the inter-army military academy. Additionally, the Republican Guards cavalry experienced disruptions as one horse broke away from the formation and another fell to the ground.
Despite these incidents, the parade continued without further interruptions, showcasing various regiments from the army, marines, civil security units including rescue dogs, aircraft, and motorized police. Bastille Day is a national holiday in France that commemorates the 1789 storming of the Bastille prison, a pivotal event in the French Revolution.
