Rescued Cat Lavender Hopes to Find a Home for Christmas

Lavender, a three-year-old cat rescued a year and a half ago, is still looking for a home after nearly 600 days in the care of People’s Animal Welfare Society. Despite her traumatic past, Lavender has flourished into a curious and playful companion, with her favorite toys being ping pong balls. She is described as a responsible pet who will ensure her new family gets enough exercise by retrieving her beloved balls frequently.

The Paw Society is hoping for a Christmas miracle to help Lavender find a home, as she has been waiting for a family for a long time. Lavender is seeking a home without other cats or dogs, but can live with children over the age of 12. She is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and can be adopted from anywhere in Sussex or surrounding areas.

Anyone interested in adopting Lavender can find more information on the Paw Society website. Despite her difficult past, Lavender has transformed into a loving and playful companion, and the organization is hopeful that she will find a forever home this Christmas.
