Queen Camilla recently had an awkward encounter with her ex-husband Andrew Parker Bowles at the Badminton Horse Trials in Gloucestershire. The 78-year-old, who divorced Andrew in 1995 after 22 years of marriage and having two children together, was attending the event in her role as president of the Ebony Horse Club. During the visit, she engaged warmly with club members, volunteers, and young riders, even trying out a horse simulator and presenting rosettes to performers.
Camilla has been married to King Charles since 2005, and despite their public displays of affection, it was revealed they sleep separately due to Charles’ chronic back pain. The King uses a cushion and performs daily exercises to manage his discomfort, which reportedly influences their decision to maintain three bedrooms—one each and one shared. This arrangement helps Charles alleviate his pain and improve his sleep quality.
