President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the Akhal-Teke Horse Day celebrations at the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Sports Complex in Ashgabat, where a monument was unveiled in honor of the famous stallion Pyýada, a distinguished figure in Turkmen horse breeding. The event featured exhibitions showcasing artworks, crafts, horse equipment, and photographs related to Akhal-Teke horses, contributed by various regions and artists.

During the festivities, Berdimuhamedov received horses from labor collectives, military, law enforcement, and horse breeders, followed by the final round of the international Akhal-Teke horse beauty contest. Winners of the contest and a related creative competition were awarded valuable prizes and cash, highlighting the cultural and national significance of the Akhal-Teke horse in Turkmenistan.
