Lottie Fry and Glamourdale Triumph at London International Horse Show with Stunning Freestyle Performance

Lottie Fry and her stallion Glamourdale delivered a stunning performance at the London International Horse Show, winning the World Cup qualifier with an impressive score of 89.17%. Their freestyle routine, themed around aviation and featuring music from Frank Sinatra to the Vengaboys, was showcased for the first time as intended, delighting the home crowd with its originality and atmosphere. Despite some earlier setbacks at the European Championships, this performance marked a high point for the pair, with notable improvements in Glamourdale’s piaffe, a movement that had been a challenge in recent seasons.

The competition saw Becky Moody and Jagerbomb finish second with 86.41%, and Norway’s Isabel Freese and Total Hope in third. Charlotte Dujardin and Alive And Kicking, after placing second in the grand prix, slipped to fifth due to mistakes in the piaffe. At 15 years old, Glamourdale demonstrated remarkable presence and power, dispelling any doubts about aging stallions balancing stud duties and sport. Lottie praised the support from the crowd and expressed satisfaction with their performance, while preparing to continue her busy schedule with young horses in the Netherlands.
