The Long Road Home Honor Ride, a multi-week horseback journey spanning over 200 miles, concluded today at the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock. Starting from Bentonville on April 8, the ride aimed to raise awareness and honor individuals affected by Arkansas’s foster care system.
Founder Andrew Martin emphasized the mission to bring foster care issues to the forefront of public consciousness in Arkansas. The group received recognition for their efforts during a stop in North Little Rock, where Mayor Terry Hartwick presented them with a proclamation acknowledging their impactful journey.
