Jordan Riske Receives MARS Bromont Rising U25 Scholarship to Compete in Elite Eventing Competition

Jordan Riske, a Manchester native and accomplished eventing rider, has been awarded a $2,500 grant through the MARS Bromont Rising U25 scholarship program, enabling her to compete at the prestigious MARS Bromont CCI event in Quebec, Canada, from June 4–7, 2026. Riske, the only Michigan rider selected among ten nationwide, has been riding since childhood and runs her own training business, JLR Equestrian LLC. She competes with her horse, MM Irish Clover (“Liam”), whom she has developed to the elite 4*S level despite personal challenges, including a cancer diagnosis.

Eventing is a demanding equestrian triathlon consisting of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping phases, with competitors of all ages and genders, including Olympians. Riske’s journey to this level included training with Olympic gold medalists and top professionals, honing her skills and advancing Liam through the ranks. She expressed deep gratitude for the support from her family, sponsors, and mentors, emphasizing the dedication required to reach this elite competition stage. The MARS Bromont CCI offers $50,000 in prize money and draws international competitors, marking a significant milestone in Riske’s promising eventing career.
