The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders’ Association is hosting its annual stallion season auction on Thoroughlybred.com, with bidding opening on Jan. 8 at 9:00 a.m. ET and closing on Jan. 12 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Over 80 seasons from top stallion farms in Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Louisiana, and more will be available, including proven stallions and freshman sires.
Any 2026 Indiana-bred progeny from stallions sold in this auction will be eligible for nomination to the 2029 $100,000 ITOBA Stallion Season Auction Stakes (Colt and Filly Divisions). ITOBA is the only organization approved by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission to support owners and breeders in the state of Indiana.
Donations are being accepted through Jan. 6, and a fillable donation form can be found on the Stallion Auction page on the Indiana Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association website.
