Grand Valley Horse Rescue, a nonprofit organization in Grand Junction, Colorado, is hosting an art, craft, and heirloom festival on Friday and Saturday. The event was inspired by a large donation of collectibles and garage items from a former teacher of the rescue’s director, Shelle DeVergie. The festival will feature a wide variety of items including jewelry, handmade linens, and glassware, described by DeVergie as “like an estate sale on steroids.”
All proceeds from the festival will directly support the horse rescue, with no salaries paid to staff—every donation goes toward feeding and caring for the horses. The fair will take place at 2327 H Road in Grand Junction, running from 1 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
