Gracie Catling and Qwinton Win Three National Titles at NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships

Gracie Catling, 22, and her 18-year-old gelding Qwinton achieved a remarkable feat at the NAF Five Star Winter dressage Championships by winning three national titles in four days, including the Superflex inter I freestyle gold with a score of 75.13%. Their freestyle, set to music from Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast, was designed by Gracie and her mother to reflect Qwinton’s lively personality, showcasing Gracie’s precise riding and the horse’s energetic yet controlled performance. Despite Qwinton’s age, he remained spirited and mistake-free, contributing to their dominant success across multiple classes.

Having recently graduated and now riding full-time, Gracie views this series of wins as a significant milestone and a payoff for her hard work. She plans to continue building on this success, with aspirations to gain experience abroad, particularly in the Netherlands, while making the most of Qwinton’s capabilities this year. Her achievements mark her as one of British dressage’s most promising young talents, combining youthful ambition with the experience of a seasoned horse.
