The FEI has announced the ground jury for the 2026 FEI WBFSH dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses, scheduled to take place in Verden, Germany from August 4-9, 2026. The jury includes presidents for the 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old categories—Sven Rothenberger (NED), Kurt Christensen (DEN), and Elke Ebert (GER), respectively—alongside a panel of international judges and commentating judges from various countries. Freddy Leyman (BEL) will serve as the Foreign Technical Delegate, and Dan Chapman (GBR) as Chief Steward.
Verden, the headquarters of the Hanoverian Society, will host the Championships for a three-year cycle from 2025 to 2027. Additionally, officials for the 2026 FEI dressage World Championships in Aachen were appointed late last year, including Australian FEI 5* Judge Mary Seefried on the dressage Judges Supervisory Panel and Kirsten Neil on the Veterinary Commission. The FEI has published the full list of appointments for the 2026 Championship.
