Equius AI has partnered with global surveillance provider IREX AI to introduce advanced machine vision technology to the horse racing industry. This collaboration will leverage IREX’s existing security infrastructure, used worldwide in airports and major venues, to deliver video intelligence platforms tailored for racetracks, training centers, and equine operations. The technology will offer real-time security analytics, fire and smoke detection, crowd monitoring, and biometric access control, alongside racing-specific features such as individual horse identification, barn entry logging, quarantine compliance, medication oversight, and race-day surveillance.

The partnership aims to work closely with horsemen, veterinarians, and industry professionals to ensure the technology meets practical needs across the sport. Founded by Sobhy Sonbol of Nile Bloodstock, Equius AI and IREX plan to enhance safety, compliance, and operational efficiency in horse racing through this innovative application of AI and machine vision.
