CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld, a major European equestrian theatrical production, will make its Asian debut in Hong Kong this September at the Kai Tak arena. The show, which has captivated millions across Europe, combines live music, dance, visual effects, and choreographed horse performances featuring 54 horses of various breeds. Central to the narrative is a young sorceress named Meerin, whose magical journey is brought to life through a blend of storytelling and horsemanship, including trick riding and liberty performances where horses move freely guided by trainers.
Presented in partnership with The Hong Kong Jockey Club as part of its Year of the Horse campaign, this event marks a milestone for both the production and Hong Kong’s cultural scene, highlighting the city’s growing status as a hub for world-class international events. Scheduled for September 8 and 10-13, 2026, CAVALLUNA offers a unique experiential performance that bridges sport, culture, and the arts, providing audiences with an immersive experience that celebrates the bond between humans and horses. Tickets go on sale April 27, with special discounts for Jockey Club members.
