BLM to Host Two-Day Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Event in Kellyville

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will host a two-day wild horse and burro adoption event at the Creek County Fairgrounds in Kellyville on August 15-16. The event will feature 120 wild horses and burros available for adoption, with activities starting at 10 a.m. on August 15. Adoption hours are from noon to 6 p.m. on the first day and from 8 a.m. to noon on August 16. Interested individuals can inquire with BLM staff onsite for more details.

This event provides an opportunity for the public to adopt wild horses and burros managed by the BLM, supporting the agency’s efforts to maintain healthy populations on public lands. The adoptions help ensure these animals find good homes while managing their numbers in the wild.
