BLM to Host Two-Day Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Event in Kellyville

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will host a two-day wild horse and burro adoption event at the Creek County Fairgrounds in Kellyville on August 15-16. The event will feature 120 wild horses and burros available for adoption, with hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Interested individuals can inquire with BLM staff onsite for more details about the animals and the adoption process.

The event aims to find new homes for these animals, supporting BLM’s ongoing efforts to manage wild horse and burro populations. This adoption opportunity provides the public a chance to help care for and preserve these iconic animals while relieving pressure on public lands.
