On 3 April 2026, Beverley’s Riding Centre in Almancil hosted an Easter Party and Horse-Riding Competition that successfully raised €500 to aid victims of recent storms in northern Portugal. The event attracted families, equestrian fans, and locals who enjoyed competitions, live entertainment, and festive refreshments in a lively community atmosphere.

The funds raised were donated to the Almancil International Rotary Project Fund, supporting communities affected by severe weather. Almancil President Uschi Kuhn expressed gratitude for the donation, while Beverley thanked attendees and volunteers for their generosity and contributions, highlighting the positive impact of the community’s support.
