2026 Preakness Stakes Coverage: TV, Streaming, and Radio Schedule for May 14-17

The 151st Preakness Stakes will take place on Saturday, May 16, at Laurel Park, with notable absences such as Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo, who will instead target the Belmont Stakes. This year’s race is expected to be highly competitive, featuring local contender Taj Mahal, trained and ridden by the husband-wife team Brittany and Sheldon Russell. Extensive live coverage is planned, beginning Friday with the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes on NBCSN and Peacock, and culminating in a 6½-hour broadcast of the Preakness Stakes on NBC and Peacock Saturday evening, with post time at 7:01 p.m. ET.

In addition to NBC’s coverage, FanDuel TV will air live races from Laurel Park and other major tracks throughout the week, while NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” will provide live broadcasts from Aqueduct, Monmouth Park, and more on FOX Sports and YouTube. The Racetrack Television Network (RTN) offers worldwide racing streams across multiple devices. A comprehensive schedule of TV, streaming, and radio broadcasts is available, ensuring fans have numerous options to follow the Preakness week action.
