Wild Horse Trainers Showcase Mustangs at Forever Branded’s Branded Bonanza Texas Event

At the second Branded Bonanza Texas event in Tyler, wild horse trainers like 19-year-old Natalie Gordon showcased their trained mustangs and burros in competitions featuring riding, jumping, and choreographed routines set to music. The event, organized by Forever Branded in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), highlights the transformation of once-wild horses into skilled performers while promoting education, engagement, and adoption to support wild horse management and conservation efforts.

Forever Branded, a nonprofit launched in 2024, works closely with the BLM to educate the public about wild horse care and facilitate adoptions to reduce overcrowding in federal holding facilities. The family-friendly event aims to dispel misconceptions about wild horses, demonstrating their trainability and value through various competition divisions. Organizers and participants hope to foster greater awareness and appreciation for wild horses, encouraging responsible management and permanent homes for these iconic animals.
