Wild Hearts Farm in Woodboro, Wisconsin, is dedicated to rescuing horses and donkeys from neglectful and abusive situations, often preventing them from being shipped out of the country for slaughter. Owner Lindsay Wiczek, motivated by her lifelong love of horses, has rescued several animals, including two recently saved from auction, and currently cares for 12 equines, half of which are rescues. The farm aims to rehabilitate these animals and find them new homes, giving them a second chance at life.

In addition to rescue efforts, Wild Hearts Farm offers hands-on educational experiences for children, including pony rides and stable care, to foster a deeper appreciation for these animals. While the farm charges for these camps, all proceeds are reinvested into the care and rescue of more horses and donkeys, supporting the farm’s ongoing mission to protect and nurture equines in need.
