Dr. Gregory Ford, a 52-year-old traveling veterinarian specializing in horses, has been arrested in Florida on charges of sexually battering a teenage girl and federally charged with threatening the girl’s mother. The allegations stem from an inappropriate sexual relationship that began when the girl was 15 and lasted about two years, during which they traveled across several states. The girl admitted to multiple sexual encounters and exchanging nude images with Ford. The case came to light after the girl’s mother discovered explicit texts and reported them to authorities.

In addition to state charges, Ford faces federal charges for sending threatening messages to the mother, including a claim that he had paid a CIA contact to kill her. Ford allegedly expressed that he and the girl were “in love” and planned to run away together once she turned 18. He remains in jail without bond, and investigators suspect there may be additional victims due to his traveling profession. Authorities are seeking information from the public regarding any other potential victims.
