Starved Pony Rescued from London Park Finds Forever Home After Christmas Recovery

Ronnie, a severely starved pony found abandoned in Cranford Park, London, was rescued by the RSPCA after being too weak to work and on the brink of death. At just two or three years old, he was emaciated, half the weight expected for his age, and suffering from worms, diarrhea, and flu. Despite his condition, Ronnie showed a gentle and affectionate nature, quickly endearing himself to the caretakers at the RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre in Surrey.

Thanks to the support of donors who provided rugs, treats, and enrichment items, Ronnie recovered and was adopted into a loving home in Oxfordshire, where he now lives happily with three other rescue ponies. While Ronnie’s story highlights the sad reality of animal neglect, the RSPCA emphasizes the positive outcomes that come from their rescue efforts and the kindness of supporters.
