Brittany DeSalvo Fremin’s childhood passion for horseback riding blossomed into Sommerview Farm in Iberville Parish, a welcoming space where riders of all ages can learn, ride, and create joyful memories. Starting with just one stall built by her father, the farm has grown into a community-focused environment that emphasizes happiness, camaraderie, and the bond between horse and rider rather than competition.

Today, Sommerview Farm offers lessons, camps, and riding experiences for beginners and seasoned riders alike, fostering confidence and trust in a supportive atmosphere. Known affectionately as “the little barn that could,” the farm invites visitors to experience Louisiana from a fresh perspective—by saddling up and enjoying the ride.
