Saut Hermès: Celebrating 16 Years of Equestrian Excellence at the Grand Palais

The Saut Hermès, established in 2009 by the luxury House Hermès, is a prestigious equestrian event held annually at the Grand Palais in Paris. Rooted in Hermès’s origins as a saddler since 1837, the event celebrates the brand’s deep connection to horses and craftsmanship. Over its sixteen editions, it has grown into a major highlight on the international show jumping calendar, featuring top riders, artistic equestrian shows directed by Bartabas, and a blend of sport and culture under the iconic glass roof of the Grand Palais. The event also supports emerging talent through the Talents Hermès program and offers family-friendly activities alongside demonstrations of Hermès’s artisanal expertise.

Despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and venue renovations, the Saut Hermès has maintained its reputation for elegance and excellence, returning to its original home in 2025. Spanning three days, the event showcases around 100 horses and 70 elite riders competing in various events, including the popular 24 Faubourg speed competition. It remains a unique fusion of tradition, luxury, and equestrian sport, embodying Hermès’s commitment to cultural consistency and its enduring love affair with horses.
