The Saddle Up for Roswell fundraiser will take place on September 13 at the Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center in Gasport, starting at 8 a.m., to support the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The event features an equestrian competition known as “eventing,” where riders participate in three disciplines: show jumping, dressage, and cross-country jumping over varied terrain.

Sue Williams, owner of the equestrian center, highlighted the complexity and skill involved in the eventing competition. The fundraiser aims to bring together the horse-riding community to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and treatment at Roswell Park, combining athletic challenge with charitable support.
