Stephanie Andelman encountered two pigs on the road, malnourished and dehydrated, and decided to rescue them with the help of her neighbors. The pigs were taken to Tails of Two Cities Sanctuary in Nederland, a 501(c)(3) registered animal sanctuary founded by Jess Osborne and her husband Myles. The sanctuary is home to a variety of rescued animals, including pigs, dogs, horses, goats, a donkey, ducks, and a yak named Tallie.
Jess Osborne’s passion for animals and her experience working with them in various settings led her to establish Tails of Two Cities Sanctuary. The sanctuary provides a loving and inclusive environment for animals in need, offering them the best care and attention. The animals at the sanctuary, named after places on the map, receive specialized care and attention, including medical treatments and proper nutrition.
The sanctuary’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for animals while also offering opportunities for human interaction and education. Tails of Two Cities relies on donations and community support to sustain its operations and continue its mission of promoting love, acceptance, and healing through animal care. Jess Osborne’s dedication to the animals and her vision of creating a sanctuary where everyone is included reflects the core values of the sanctuary.
