Rescue Life Sanctuary in Palm Beach Gardens is a 15-acre refuge dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of animals, including horses, goats, cats, and exotic species, many of whom come from slaughterhouses, abandonment, or neglect. Founded in 2013 by lifelong animal advocate Megan Weinberger, the sanctuary provides a safe haven where animals receive specialized care and healing, transforming their lives from trauma to comfort. Rescue Life also partners with local organizations to offer therapy programs for children, helping them build trust and responsibility through interaction with the animals.
Beyond rescue, Rescue Life actively supports the community by providing shelter during natural disasters and advocating for stronger animal protection laws. The sanctuary relies heavily on community donations and grants to maintain and expand its facilities, including plans for additional stables and hurricane shelters. Through programs like “Walk-A-Pup” and “Party with Ponies,” Rescue Life fosters meaningful connections between animals and people, emphasizing healing, education, and lifelong care for both.
