Remembering David Kovatch: A Life of Courage, Family, and Passion for the Outdoors

David Kovatch, born in 1954 in Montana, passed away peacefully on July 8th after a courageous 30-year battle with illness. He was deeply loved for his big heart, kindness, and positive energy. David shared 43 years of marriage with his wife Carolyn and was a devoted father and grandfather. He had a lifelong passion for horse racing, outdoor activities like hunting and fishing, and was actively involved in youth baseball as President of Riverside Little League.

David is survived by his wife, children, siblings, grandchildren, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, in-laws, and several close relatives. Known for his enduring optimism and strength, David lived by the motto “Life is good,” leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him through his warmth, love, and unwavering spirit.
